I dunno, there really wasn't a way to keep up with it.

Re: Feedback on HIS Contest for Radeon HD 5770
I actually found this site through the competition. Having registered one of my 4890's with HIS they sent me an email about the competition. The timing was great as I'm currently doing some research on monitors before I upgrade.
As for the competition itself, I thought it was quite good. I liked the way the questions and survey were sort of combined. I had to do a little digging for a couple of the answers and actually learned a thing or two. So overall it was a fun little competition which helped me to find this site :onethumb
Good luck to everyone...

I also got here through a mail from HIS. On the topic, I think the survey thing works great, it's better than how other sites do it.

Actually, I didn't spot any contest until i happened upon the main page. I have the forum itself, bookmarked and only go to the main page when I'm viewing the site from a different computer. The form itself, was fine, and worked well with Opera. I'm not sure what other feedback i could give...
Thanks to HIS and yay for WSGF. It needs all the exposure it can get. Once again, I'll state that every widescreen monitor should have the website address printed on the box. I'd be lost without this place. I keep hoping that with continued exposed, developers will finally starting getting these wide/multi issues worked on a regular basis BEFORE release dates roll around. I can think of a fair number of games that I didn't buy because they lacked proper support.
kind of swayed off topic, there.

I found this site by reading about the contest... the site seems OK on the whole, but for contests, there should be a "progress" page where can check in and see who has won what prize for the previous week. If there are runners up (or 2nd and 3rd place depending on the particular contest) it would be nice to see all that stuff too... other than that, all is well!
:-D
Thanks for the opportunity to win a video card!!!

Re: Feedback on HIS Contest for Radeon HD 5770
Recieved the email today, but i am unable to find the submit button on the survey form ??
Re: Feedback on HIS Contest for Radeon HD 5770
Aside from the slightly obvious marketing spin, I really don't mind this one. I don't have to submit tons of personal information even though I stand little to no chance of winning, so I don't have to worry about that data being sold to marketing companies for tens of thousands of dollars more than what the contest cost to hold in the first place.
Re: Feedback on HIS Contest for Radeon HD 5770
I found this site from the HIS newsletter.Btw, was not the winner supposed to be draw on 1st October ? Best of luck to all. :)
