Hi all,
This is an Eyefinity question, i have a 2GB AMD 5870 card and two 24" monitors, and i understand that Arma2/OA code is better performing these days, would the performance be good enough for me to consider getting a third monitor for Eyefinity gaming?

1x 2GB 5870 + Arma2:OA + 3x 24" screens = success/fail?
Re: 1x 2GB 5870 + Arma2:OA + 3x 24" screens = success/fail?
Is the performance of your 2 gb 5870 enough to run your two monitors at max settings on arma II/OA? If not then I doubt it if crossfire 5870 will run three monitors with the same settings.

hmmm, guess i should at least try that first.

The early reviews I have seen do not seem to indicate it's performing that much better. Bummer, too, as I was looking forward to this one. (I had SO many issues with Arma II, I gave up and un-installed it- was really hoping to give this one a try... May still give it a go...)

Hey guys, new to WSGF, first post actually...
I bought 3x 27" in monitors at 2560x1440 and am currently running them on 2x HD5870s (slightly overclocked). With one 24" monitor I was able to run the game at full graphics settings with about 70FPS in most in-game situations. Running the game now at 7680x1440 I had to drop down to medium graphics with shadows off to get about the same framerate. Hope that helps!
