To be fair though, it does look stunning visually.

It's Portal. No one will be buying it because of the graphics.

The technology certainly is not cutting edge by any stretch of the imagination though.

Which is why that "guy" should update his talking points.

Source combines leading-edge character animation, advanced AI, real-world physics, shader-based rendering, and a highly extensible development environment to produce some of the most popular computer and console games.

Maybe they should update their site as well.

-------------------------

IMO the Source Engine was/is not that desirable of an engine for non-Valve developers.

Bloodlines - Ran like ass.
Dark Messiah - Tunnel runner for large chunks of the game.
Zeno Clash - Is that even a game?

Nice. I was expecting more of a re-hash of the first one, and not so much new stuff. But after watchign half of one video, i must stop so as not to spoil the surprises.

Something tells me this game is going make my brain bleed. Look at the examples, I don't think I could come up with the solutions, but then again I thought that about Portal and beat that quite fast.

Did you do the challenge missions as well? I know those took me a little bit longer than the actual game to beat.

I am looking forward to more challenges in Portal 2. Bring on the brain bleeding!

That doesn't mean that we need any more fat jokes!

Someone did the math at some point a month back, at this rate Episode 3 is going to be coming out somewhere around 2065-2075.

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1291651 This thread poses quite an interesting question.

 I had forgotten about Gabe Newell's promise. :P Found that one on another site and thought about the cake promised in Portal 2.

As for Gabe Newell, he's a widescreen gamers best friend. When it comes to track record, Valve is number 1 when it comes to supporting widescreens! :bowdown

Some gameplay. I'd say it has some spoilers in it. Funny stuff.

I again finished Postal last night and I really hope the next one is longer. Ya, the first one has all those challenges, I just want more entertaining dialogue.

I've all but given up on waiting for Episode 3. Fuckers.
