(eyefinity related) perepheral monitor issue

My issue isnt a huge deal, but it is annoying. I set my Display Port adapter monitor as my center and primary monitor.. and the 2 dvi ports are used as my perepheral monitors. I noticed 1 line moving upwards on the perepheral monitors.. it looks sort of like screen tearing but its just 1 horizontal line moving from bottom to top.. rinse and repeat. I have 3 of the same monitors there just average lcd's acer x223w's. I purchased the other 2 when I bought my cards so they could have different firmware and were most likely manufactured at different times.

I have tried just about everything I can as far as settings in CCC.. And this line only occurs in 3d mode.

Note: These monitors should only have a maximum res of 1680x1050 but the 2 new monitors are saying there max res is 1920x1080.

Anyone have any suggestions? This is not a v-sync issue its just 1 constant line moving upwards.. only noticable during brighter colors are displayed.

I wonder if this monitor can accept a 1080i signal through the DVI port and interpolate it down. Years ago I was in a Circuit City and looking a monitor available at the time from Gateway. Was one of their monitors that had HDMI and component inputs, though its max res was 1680x1050.

You could set 1920x1080 in Windows and it would scale stuff down to fit on the screen. However the screens seemed to "vibrate" or "wobble" when doing this. DP is very finicky about wanting to run only at native resolution. I'm guessing you tried swapping monitors to see what happens then?

yeah I swapped the monitors around, I dont quite remember if the native display changed. What I do notice though is whatever monitor I set as my primary monitor everything looks fine and dandy. The secondary monitors have that wierd line moving upwards, whether they have display port or dvi.

Try turning off DDC/CI in your monitor menu. :)

If I have that option to turn it off I dont see it. But I just looked in the monitor menu and both the dvi monitors display this:
1680x1050 H: 64 khz V: 60hz

The display port monitor displays
1680x1050 H: 65 khz V:60hz

is there anyway I can make them all say 65 khz or all say 64 khz.. or is this no big deal?

You can change DDC/CI according to the manual. :)

As for horizontal refresh difference, you can always manually select it, but I doubt it would make a difference.
