Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection

If anyone on this forum plays Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection. Would you give me some ideas on a continuous, irritating, issue I have been having with certain animals...?

I try to make exhibits for dinos, and certain exotic animals, like recently, Black Leopards. I can't make them happy. They are happy to start out but that does not last. I have done "EVERYTHING". Placed all the trees, rocks and toys they want. Gave them lots of private areas, even put a fence inside the exhibit to create more private areas. I gave them water, switched the brown barn with a rock cave. Although they like all that stuff, they still are not happy. I also fixed it so the zookeeper can't go anywhere beyond a small square outside the exhibit to make sure he/she takes care of the animal when the animal needs it. Nothing I have tried doing has done a thing.
Could someone PLEASE tell me what else I can try or tell me if I am needing a patch for this? This is getting ridiculous. |(
