Well, referring to a new game as being nothing more then paying for a patch will tend to net you some hostility in a thread of people who are talking about the new features and abilities of this game vs its predecessor. I must say that my own response is pretty hostile, but then again I was pretty drunk at the time and am very passionate about seeing this game and its developers succeed, still no need to get all drama llama on us over hurt feelings.
Patch was a poor description on my part. Most of the feature lists of the game that I viewed tended to give me the impression of Mount & Blade with multiplayer and better graphics. I am glad there is more to it.
Alas I have no excuse of alcohol or passion for my response, I was just rubbed the wrong way. Sorry if you got the impression that I was slagging the game, I am a fan of the series and I hope it does well.
