This seems to just pull in on the 16:9 aspect ratio which the FoV changing just helps to mitigate a bit but it is evident everywhere else. In a full fix the max FoV would still be further back from the character than this fix has it.

you're right, but it's still the only solution to the black bars. :(

who can fix FOV, HUD and cutscenes, I can't ? =(
for 3840x1080 32:9 does not look good


this is the maximum FOV in the game settings:

21:9 fov is pretty good, have you tried messing around in the .ini file which has the fov setting? Its at 40. You can find it in the game's install folder

Good work boys, was real good waking up to a partial fix, even though the HUD is somewhat out of screen.

when you enable FovHackEnable the game crashes and if you just change the Fov, nothing changes

when FovHackEnable=true is enabled, the game crashes if you set FOV value above 40

Did you try editing the same hex values as the RE2 FOV fix?
