Out of the box, Sword Coast Legends does not support my resolution (2560x1080)

I've been playing around with the options a bit, and I've found that the game ALMOST supports this resolution. I run the game in '-popupwindow' mode and use a handy utility called Fullscreenizer to force 2560x1080. The in-game results are that it works perfectly on the main game screen! It's totally playable. The hud elements appropriately move to the edge of the screen, and all the in-game GUI elements are properly aligned. Like so:

However, the issue here is that most of the other interfaces are cut off. Character screen, inventory, main menu, etc. Like so:

Opening the main menu via the menu button brings it back out of fullscreenizer'd mode and I can then access the menus properly, but then I have to go over to fullscreenizer and re-force the proper fullscreen, which isn't practical considering how often the menus are opened.

Many games get around this by forcing 16:9 aspect for the menu screens (black bars on left & right) where this is an issue so that they don't need to spend time redesigning these interfaces, and just allowing 21:9 (without black bars on sides) in the main game screen.

If anyone could offer any tips on getting this to work properly, or perhaps some sort of fix, I would be very greatful. Thanks!

Since there is no support for 21:9 aspect ratios I take for granted that Eyefinity/Surround is not supported either.

Any chance that the guys behind Flawless Widescreen or Widescreen Fixer is working on a solution?

+1 for fixing this since im running on a 21:9 AOC 34" monitor @ 3440x1440.

Thanks in advance.

Shameless bump.

I really would like to play this game in fullscreen (or borderless if ever supported) instead of a window @ 1920x1200.

3440x1440 would be so much better.

Anyone looking into this or there isn't enough players (Sword Coast Legends is not on the top 10 list on Steam)?

I use eyefinity 5x1 portrait at 5400 x 1920 res. It doesn't work at 5x1 portrait, but does work with 3x1 portrait at 3240 x 1920. Here's some pics.

Hmm...

Can it be the height that is the problem?

Anyone got it working at 2560x1440??

Yeah it's definitely the height. It works fine at the common aspect ratios, regardless of the resolution - it scales properly up to 4k, which is nice for those folks. Any ratio wider than those causes problems.

Funny, I use Nvidia surround 3x1 portrait at 3420 x 1920. In windowed it shows something like 1140x640. I can fullscreen the game and it's clearly stretched to fit from the fuzziness of text. In game video options say res is 3420x1920 and are not adjustable.

edit: just tried fullscreenizer and it works AMAZINGLY well

The new patch they added recently messed up the game working with my resolution properly. It was like yours was before using the fullscreenizer program. Thanks a lot for the mention of the fullscreenizer program, it does work great.
