That someone of any solution to return to Ultra-Widescreen.
Again, the above methods do not work, It is as if the last update does not recognize the addresses must be changed.


Example above method:
- In the SEARCH field, enter "39 8E E3 3F".

- (3440x1440). If you're using 3440x1440 21:9, enter "8E E3 18 40" into the REPLACE WITH field.

- (2560x1080). If you're using 2560x1080 21:9, enter "26 B4 17 40" into the REPLACE WITH field.

I appeal to the Gurus Forum, you tell us what the current values. Please aid need...

It appears EA has added new entries into fifa16.exe. These are the steps I used to get 21x9 working again on FIFA 16 after the most recent update. I tried to include the whole process for sake of completeness. I am not going to create a trainer or upload any files but this is how you can fix it yourself.

Prerequisites
1) Download HxD for your language from http://mh-nexus.de/en/downloads.php?product=HxD . I use the portable version so I do not have to install it. Then either extract it or install it depending on your version.
2) Download Cheat Engine from http://www.cheatengine.org and follow the instructions on the site to install it. Then follow the included tutorial to get used to how Cheat Engine functions.

Ultrawide HexEdit Fix for FIFA 16 (Do this once until another update from EA)
1) Go to your FIFA 16 install folder and make a backup copy of fifa16.exe
2) Run HxD.exe and open up fifa16.exe
3) Click on Search then Replace in the menu
4) Enter "39 8E E3 3F" in "Search for" and "8E E3 18 40" for 3440x1440 or "26 B4 17 40" for 2560x1080 in "Replace with"
5) Change "Datatype" to "Hex-values".
6) Under "Search direction" choose "All" and click "Replace all" (it replaced 3 entries on mine)
7) Save your changes and close HxD.
8) If you have issues with the fifa16.exe file delete it and use the backup you made in step 3

Ultrawide Cheat Engine Fix for FIFA 16 (Do this each time you want 21x9)
1) Run Fifa 16 and "Alt-tab" out of it
2) Run Cheat Engine
3) Click the "Open Process" and select "fifa16.exe"
4) Click "Open"
5) Check "Hex"
6) Enter "3FE38E39" in "Value" and click "First Scan"
7) Double Click "Adress 1433A7AC0"
8) Change Value "4018E38E" (3440X1440) or "4017B426" (2560x1080)
9) Switch back to FIFA 16 which is already running and "Alt-Enter" to return to fullscreen

This should get you playing again in 21x9.

i tried both methods and they seem not to work on the new fifa version sadly.

Dannyboy, I had to apply the HexEdit fix then the Cheat Engine fix in order for it to work on the latest version. Also in Cheat Engine make sure you use the new address "1433A7AC0". I hope that helps you or someone else. If not it was worth a try and I will reply back if I can think of anything else that might be the cause of the issue.

Excellent. I realize an uploaded trainer and edited exe would be easier for people to use. I just do not have a way to share files that I feel good about right now.

bdjace i can no 21:9 Fix despite Manual create. Why note ? Ultrawide HexEdit Fix and Ultrawide Cheat Engine Fix for Fifa 16 work not. What am I doing wrong ? It works for all you ? This is the only method that works...

Great work, but could you maybe explain how to create such an .exe? I can fix 3440x1440 well with cheat engine, but I have no idea how to create a simple exe out of it. I use the 1080p version when I'm home so thanks for that.

it's just bdjace method, that trainer generated by cheat engine itself without any advance programming, just google it --> create trainer using cheat engine

It's very easy. Just download the rar in my previous post, put the program on your desktop, play fifa, hit start game, press alt-enter at the same time, open my program and press the shortcut for your resolution, open fifa again and press alt-enter again.

I'm sorry, but I've tested it and indeed it doesn't work. I don't understand a bit of it. It works when I create it and leave CE open, but when I close the program and open the trainer it doesn't work. I tried all versions of CE without a result. Can maybe the guys that used to upload the files tell me what I'm doing wrong. It's pretty straight forward, so I don't know what I could be doing wrong. But any help would be appreciated, so I can upload files people can actually use.

I've made a working version, but not with CE, but with ArtMoney. You can download the zipfile, unzip it, install ArtMoney, and just like with the CE versions you open the FIFA 16 UltraWide file and press F5 for 2560x1080 and F6 for 3440x1440. It doesn't look so pretty, but it sure works.

Do you want to create a trainer with CE? If so, there are a lot of tutorials on google, it's not that difficult. Only problem for me is, it just doensn't work when CE is closed.
AM is a little more difficult as you have to figure it out yourself. If you want to add another resolution you can just tell me the code and I'll implent it.

I would love the hex code for 5760 x 1080 as well. Got it working on my 5760x1080 setup with the 5760x1200 code and it loses about a fifth on each side monitor. Where do these values come from?

Can you help me to find out what is the correct HEX value for 5040x1050 ? (3x1680x1050 16:10 NVSuround)

3x 16:10 (48:10) is 40 99 99 9A for this game.

Se the Common HEX Values for more common aspect ratios (FIFA 16 needs reversed pairs, so e.g. 9A 99 99 40 on that list becomes the 40 99 99 9A this game needs for 48:10).

Can anyone tell me what I would need to use for 11520 x 2160 (3x 4k) please.

Or 11920 x 2160 bezel corrected though I think that's bad in Fifa, ball can hide briefly.

11520x2160 (48:9) is 40 AA AA AB. 11920x2160 is B4 97 B0 40.

hello, i would like to have the hex code for 7680x1440 (i use nvidia surround, 3 monitors 2560x1440)
i tried to calculate it following your guides, but i didn't make it.
this is what i got:
7680 = 1E00 = 00 1E
1440 = 5A0 = A0 05
aspect ratio AB AA AA 40 (16:9x3)

These are 48:9 (3x16:9) like 5760x1080, so it's still 40 AA AA AB for both.

Hello all i use to have 34" ultra wide monitor but now i have a 3x 32" monitors so my total resolution is 5760x1080 but how to i get it to full screen can anyone give me some tips of what tools i need and how to change it all thanx

Set up the display group in the AMD/Nvidia control panel (if you haven't already done so), then hex edit the FIFA 16 EXE as described in the first post using 40 AA AA AB for your new 48:9 aspect ratio.

Thanks so much for your great work! The fix works perfectly fine on my 3440x1440 monitor. No problems whatsoever. Bit stretched HUD but the game itself is perfect. Downloaded and followed the instructions. Worked immediately. Now I can finally play with maximum fun. Thanks heaps!

You must use the long method with Cheat Engine until they update utility.

The Widescreen fix from 16.05 doesn't work since the last Fifa Update.
HexEditor and Cheat Engine don't work too. An new fix would be great.

This fix doesn't work here. I run the latest version of the game on a 3440x1440 monitor. All I can get is an awfully stretched version after hiting F5... Have I done something wrong ?
