make sure in C:\GOG Games\Darksiders III\Darksiders3\Binaries\Win64 not the outside folder. are you tried with search direction "all" ? . btw i added for gog version , i believe still day one version right ?

I have just downloaded and am now using the patch, working a treat so far thanks susahamat!
Interesting that devs have said they didn't want to support unbarred cutscenes, I haven't seen any off screen issues yet.
Why not just enable them and give gamers a choice?

For the new beta patch you have to change the same but in another offset:

CTRL+G search offset 011F3390 > Change 48 81 EC D0 00 00 00 F6 41 2C 01 49 8B D9 0F 29 to 48 81 EC D0 00 00 00 F6 41 2C 00 49 8B D9 0F 29
