Try this trainer:

But I can't guarantee that trainer will work, since I don't have this game to test it.

Duuuuude, you're a lifesaver. Just made this account to say that. Works perfectly. Not even sure why people still seem to think 21:9 creates an advantage in a game like this. Like THAT tiny little extra space is going to allow me to do anything. Honestly, I'm just really happy I won't have to deal with a stretched image or black bars. Perfect timing too, my fight stick comes in tomorrow. :D

Screens if anyone is curious. http://imgur.com/a/HqGUj

Only problem I'd say would be that the menu's are still 16:9 and it's not exactly automated (since you have to open the trainer and activate the fixes), but not a huge deal really. What matters most I'd say is, no black bars during battle. Annnnd no black bars there is, thanks so much man.

It works for me. But I think the fov should be increased slightly. If you use a large character like King. His feet are slightly cut off on the bottom of the screen.

Thanks Jackfuste !! You the man. Can you make trainer have a zoom feature? Running this game at 5870x1080.

Thanks,

Jackfuste's cheat engine table works great for multimonitor, you just have to increase the FOV value. I can generate another trainer with it if you just want the standalone exe.

Is it possible to edit the .exe to make the fix permanent so I dont have to activate it each time I start the game ?

Thx to Jackfuste for the fix.

Ok, I tweaked the jackfuste CT. Now it's quite easy, juste double-clic the .CT. Tekken 7 will be automatically launched and the right process selected; nothing to do. I even created a shortcut to this Cheat Table.

To avoid the LUA warning each time, you can desactivate this in the Cheat Engine's options.

Image

Like this I start my Windows 10, launch my shorcut, then under the game (fullscreen mode, 3440x1440 resolution for me), press F1 then F2, and ultrawidescreen is applyied :twothumb:

@jackfuste: just a question, do you know how to group your 2 patches on a single F1 key? I did it with CEMU for Zelda and an AssemblerScript but in your case I don't know, can you help me ?

Yea you can easily edit the executable

the cheat engine table (or the trainer) modify the executable space not the dynamic memory space, pretty much a temporary exe edit

so you can find the same values in the exe

but maybe that's better with Denuvo

But the one who's checked by steam is the file located on your computer, and you got a risk to get banned as a cheater if Namco implement later a check ;)

Ok, new version of my Cheat Table:

Quote:
- Fixed: the FOV on the original post is not correct, fixed in this version
- Fixed: Cheat Engine memory usage was constantly growing
- Both value are now set on F1

How to use?

Quote:
1. Launch the TEKKEN7.exe trainer (Tekken will be launched automatically)
2. When ingame, press F1 to switch 21:9

The ZIP also contain the CT. If your Tekken path is not C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\TEKKEN 7\\TekkenGame\\Binaries\\Win64\\TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.exe the exe file won't work, but you can edit the CT file with your patch to regenerate the .exe trainer with your path =)

Finally I need a little help. I set a LUA script that after 30 secondes applies the widescreenfix. the 2 boxes autocheck correctly, but not effect during the game, I need to do it manually (F1) to make it works. If someone has the solution, because then it's a full automated trainer, nothing to do appart of launch it and play in 21:9 :)

Sry for the OT question guys. Is it true that Cheat engine has malware inside? My anti malware programm just hooked up and put in to quarantine.

So far I am using the exe. version from page 1 works good for me besides a little bit zooming up and downards.

No yhoo234 about the exe, but what you can do is edit my CT file with your path, mine is "standard":

Quote:
C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\TEKKEN 7\\TekkenGame\\Binaries\\Win64\\TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.exe

and change it with yours.

Then open it with Cheat Engine, and the job will be the same ;)

When it works with Cheat Engine, you can once opened in the menu "generate a trainer" and you'll have the same .exe as mine but working with your conf. If you need help, go ahead I'll help you.

A new quick Denuvo hotfix just came out for Tekken 7 Steam around 10 hours ago & dis fix still works :D

Many thanks for making this fix jackfuste. Now I don't regret not getting the ps4 version over pc. I guessing that CT only works for Unreal engine 4 games?

i understand your explaination and i tried to modify my path like that

'C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\TEKKEN 7\\TekkenGame\\Binaries\\Win64\\ntleas.exe')

ntleas.exe is that because of region problem i have to use Unicode program so this connect TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.exe

after i finish that i regenerate trainer but don't start autocally OTL

Yeah, I'm running on 5760x1200, would you be able to make a standalone exe for that resolution? Or let me know the steps you used to get it working? New to cheat engine.

I don't understand why a .exe is so important. Just lauch the trainer.exe we did, and it will work exactly the same, and bypass the comming game update in case the .exe changes.

A small thing I noticed: When a charecter gets a critical hit, the FoV (even when using jack's cheat table) tends to be to low and zooms in, when normally it wouldn't. Any way someone can spot it out and take a look for a fix?

The 21:9 trainer does not work anymore since the patch from today.

@jachfuste / artik / anyone who knows:
Could you tell me which value you looked for for 16:9? I could easily look for it in the new exe but 398EE33F for 16:9 is not part of the exe... For which value did you originally search?

They rolled back to the previous version today (update on steam 175 MB). Maybe the fix is working again, I have to try yet.

EDIT: yes it's working again.

Take a closer look at your STREET FIGHTER fix on 48:9
and find that you just change the TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.CT

<Value>0.01052664</Value>

FOV

to

<Value>0.01752664</Value>

FOV

You can use the correct FOV at 48:9

could you please share the math between FOV 0.01052664 for 21:9 and FOV 0.01752664 for 48:9 ?
i am trying to calculate it for my 16:10-16:9-16:10 setup but only got unfocused and bad zoomed views so far

I'm not going to figure out FOV. I'm just trying to change numbers. Then enter the game, see if the view is bigger or smaller, and then continue to try T_T

Thank you for your help
I couldn't find the value of FOV in Transformers: Devastation.exe, and 48:9 HUD was stretched to become deformed
Can you point me out, lol?

Thx for the info, jackfuste!

But one thing I don't get is that I can hex edit the exe for good, but I'm not able to modify the ct file for doing the same thing on-the-fly without editing the exe. I just can't find 3B 8E E3 3F in memory for example. What am I doing wrong?

Good stuff my friend Jackfuste. The exe patch works in the new update

Anyone know the aspect ratio & fov codes for 4096 x 2160 - It's a bit wider then 16:9 4k

I might try this on my TV when I get around time to do so

Thanks for the mod, love it. I did see in the new patch that the team added something where now they're matching up "cheaters" against cheaters. Was wondering if this mod flagged the user as a cheater. I read somewhere someone saying that toolassisted's quick loading mod qualified, even though it's not really a "cheating" mod, so made me wonder if this one would.

EDIT: From what I can tell, I think it does unfortunately. I went into ranked lobbies and was consistently getting the same couple players over and over. Played for a while, playing them for a while, and whenever I went back to the lobby, would see them and noticed they would be there again and their wins wouldn't change even if I went away and came back, as if they're not finding other people to play with. Uninstalled mod and went back to ranked lobby and couldn't find them any more and was getting matched up with a different set of players.

I was wondering why I was getting my ass handed to me every match recently using this mod. Thought I was just having a bad day.

This isn't true. I've been playing against players that streamers like Aris are playing against. I was worried at first but I don't believe this is on their radar for now. Also as of today it stopped working, any fixes for the new July Patch?

Yes, this works.

Quote:
00 00 82 42 00 80 54 45 => 30 43 A2 42 00 80 54 45

Then I replaced this and it works.
But a patch.exe would be really great.

choose one : 01 -> 00 or 3B 8E E3 3F => Aspect ratio . with patch.exe or manual is same result

Could someone list some clear steps, or even post a video to YouTube on how to do this?
People who don't understand Hex, such as me have no clue what we are doing

I was able to do this for FOV
00 00 82 42 00 80 54 45 => 30 43 A2 42 00 80 54 45

but couldn't find either of these steps for black bar removal
B8 0F 84 D0 01 00 00 F3 => B8 0F 85 D0 01 00 00 F3

Replace all values 3B 8E E3 3F => Aspect Ratio

Replace all values 3B 8E E3 3F => Aspect Ratio

1. Download and install Cheat Engine 6.7 or higher (http://www.cheatengine.org/)
2. Launch Tekken 7, then back to desktop with alt-tab
3. Launch Cheat Engine and at the top left computer's icon, select TEKKEN7 in the list
4. In the right panel of cheat engine, in "Value Type" select "Array of byte"
5. in the array of byte box upper, search: 3B 8E E3 3F
6. Select all results (Ctrl+A), and hit Ctrl+E (Change value of seleted addresses)
7. In the box, paste your desired aspect ratio (http://www.wsgf.org/article/common-hex-values) in my case 21:9 (3440x1440) so: 8E E3 18 40
8. then correct the FOV. Search for 00 00 82 42 00 80 54 45 and replace with 30 43 A2 42 00 80 54 45

Back to tekken it's in 21:9 3440x1440, but I don't have any skill to create a patch.exe

If patch doesn't work with new Tekken 7 updates, then it means what game code is now packed/encrypted and direct patch for "TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.exe" not possible.
But trainer still should work, try it.

  • Run trainer (don't press "Fix" button)
  • Run game
  • Trainer will be automatically closed after memory patching

Thanks for your trainers jackfuste.
The 3440x1440 doesn't work, I have an error: "Can't find value N°2!".

If it's fixed, can you provide us the .ct? Could be interesting to add an autolaunch exe in LUA.

I need your TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.exe memory dump to fix this.
  • Install - http://www.ntcore.com/files/ExplorerSuite.exe
  • Run C:\Program Files\NTCore\Explorer Suite\Task Explorer-x64.exe as Admin
  • Startup game and Alt+Tab it
  • In Task Explorer click right mouse button on "TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping" and select "Dump PE"
  • Upload dumped file

I'm not sure if it is just artik having problems or others as well so here is my trainer for 21:9 3440x1440 if anybody wants it.
When loaded in to a fight or waiting for an opponent press F9 to enable ultrawide.

v1.01 of my 21:9 trainer with a button to start Tekken.

The start button only works if you have the game installed at...
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TEKKEN 7\TekkenGame\Binaries\Win64\TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.exe

If you have it installed elsewhere then the start button can still work if you copy of the game's exe to the location above.

It works perfectly! :thumbup:
Just a question, you scan the entries, or you patch with direct address ?
(Means that if the address change in the future, the patch will still works?)

If you scan it's really good, hope now that Namco Bandai won't crypt it.

scanned for fov, black bars are direct (or was it the other way around :crazy: ). So will probably need doing again at some point although that is how I have been doing it the past 2 weeks and it survived yesterdays update.

Hi there!

Just tried P8M3's exe, didn't work though, =(

Got this error:

Image

Any ideas? I already checked if these folders exist or not, and all of them exists... I also tried different programs (like 7-zip) to create files on these temp folders and they succeeded... And for a final attempt, I downloaded Cheat Engine and set it to use a custom folder as a new Temp Dir, instead of the Windows' default, and it worked for CE, but didn't change a thing for the P8M3 app.

Any help is highly appreciated, ty!

Hello jackfuste
The 2560x1080 doesn't work, I have an error: "Can't find value N°2!".

After trying P8M3's trainer and obtaining no success, I ended up creating my own fix for 2560x1080, I can upload it, if you wanna try it!

@Bullfrog

I also got the Samsung CHG90 could you please upload a Trainer for 32:9 (3840x1080). I tried to mess around with the cheat engine but the FOV is all messed up and the characters are to close to the camera. Thanks in advance!!

Hey @kamikaze7100,

No Problem, buddy! I modified my trainer to work with 32:9 and attached it here (but since I don't have a 32:9 screen to test, I can't guarantee that it will work).

Anyway, if possible, let me know how well it did!

:cheers:

Hey Artik, my patch is still working after today's update, at least in me end.

So, I'm posting here my patch for the main 3 ultrawide resolutions, hope it helps.
(If you use one resolution that it's not listed here, feel free to request/PM me)

Cheers!

Thank you so much for the patch!! The 32:9 aspect ratio is working fine but the FOV is of by a bit. If you look at the picture, I think it should be zoomed out by about 30%.

Thanks Bullfrog! The 3440 patch works ;)

But the process is long (Lauch Tekken, minimise it, lauch your patch, do 4 clicks...)
Still waiting for the P8M3 fix of his patch. With his patch, you double clic the .exe, and all was automatic (you should try it to see, was really great. Maybe you can adapt yours?).

Hey guys, I'm uploading some variations of the 32:9 patch, with a FOV of 90, 100 and 110. Check if any of these is fine or if u guys want some specific value! :cheers:

(Kamikaze7100, what a beautiful setup u have there, pretty dope, man! :rockout: )

Hi Artik, good to hear that it's working! And yes, I agree that it's kind of time consuming, but the problem is - my knowledge with Lua is pretty poor, but if I find some time, I will definitely try to make it more automatic.

But hey, u don't need to alt+tab: When u see the Splash Screen, you can already patch the game and close the .exe, before it goes Fullscreen, ;)

Hi @_AG !

Tbh, I got the addresses and values from the @jackfuste and @Ark post:

(First Jackfuste posted this:)
Spoiler:
jackfuste wrote:
WalleO wrote:
Can someone please make this trainer fix into an .exe replacement? Please Jack can you help us out?

Here's patches for exe:
Attachment:
patch_21x9.7z

Attachment:
patch_48x9.7z

Copy it to TEKKEN 7\TekkenGame\Binaries\Win64\ and patch "TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.exe"

How to manually patch exe using HEX-editor:
Black bars removing
  • B8 0F 84 D0 01 00 00 F3 => B8 0F 85 D0 01 00 00 F3

    or other way
  • Replace all values 3B 8E E3 3F => Aspect Ratio
FOV
00 00 82 42 00 80 54 45 => New FOV 00 80 54 45

For example, for 3440x1440:
B8 0F 84 D0 01 00 00 F3 => B8 0F 85 D0 01 00 00 F3
00 00 82 42 00 80 54 45 => 30 43 A2 42 00 80 54 45

And latter, Ark posted a very clear, step-by-step instructions here:
Spoiler:
artik wrote:

So, to sum it up:

For Black Bars:
3B 8E E3 3F to value found here: http://www.wsgf.org/article/common-hex-values

And for FoV:
00 00 82 42 00 80 54 45 to 30 43 A2 42 00 80 54 45 (this value works pretty nice for 21:9 resolutions, but if u want another angle, u got convert the angle number to hex, using any online IEEE 754 calculator, then write it from the right to left, example: If the calculator gives u "13 24 35 46", write down "46 35 24 13", and change the first 4 chunks from the original value, so "00 00 82 42 00 80 54 45" would become "46 35 24 13 00 80 54 45"

(This last part is well explained at the button of this same page: http://www.wsgf.org/article/common-hex-values , where it reads:
Spoiler:
"Sometimes the field of view (fov) for a game can be found in hexadecimal form in one of the game's files. The format you will most likely see is the IEEE 754 standard which is comprised of four hexadecimal pairs.

For example a fov of 60.0 would be the following in hexadecimal.

42 70 00 00

This will almost always be formatted to be read from right to left in the game's files. So 42 70 00 00 becomes the following in the file.

00 00 70 42

You can use a IEEE 754 calculator like this one to get your fov value into hexadecimal format. Simply paste your fov in the decimal field and click the Rounded or Not Rounded button (should not matter) and look at the hexadecimal result under the single precision fields.

Think of the hexadecimal value in this format.

ST UV WX YZ

You will be using it in this format.

YZ WX UV ST

Remember you can calculate the field of view by using the FOV Calc tool on this site along with any of several other methods for calculating the field of view."

Hello Bullfrog, great work on the patches, your latest ones work great and are the only ones I could get to work. However, my resolution is 5760x1200 and your latest patches do not include this, so there are black bars towards the sides. If you're still active would you be able to make another for this resolution please?

Hey DoctorAnubis, glad to hear that the others patches worked for u! ^^

About one for 5760x1200, what is exactly your setup? 3 monitors of 16:10 ?

If so, at least removing the black bars should work fine.

However, I'm not 100% sure about the FOV, I did some calculations, I believe 120º should work, but again, not sure.

Test it and let me know how it goes!

Hey Bullfrog, sorry for the length of time it has taken for me to get back to you. Yes, it worked wonderfully thank you. The only flaw I have noticed is the FOV whenever the camera zooms in, it zooms in waaaaay too far, but I imagine there is no way to fix this?

Hmm, interesting, I though about it, there should be a flag in the code to trigger the "zoom in" at the end of a match. I don't have enough skill to do this, specially coding in Lua (for CE), but there should be a way to monitor this flag, and when it triggers, change the FOV to the original value, and then, change it back to the gameplay value...But, to be honest, I don't think it's a good idea, chances are high for the game to crash when changing FOV mid-game, so I don't think it's worth.

Thanks for your patch.
Sadly i get small black bars when using your patch.
Would it be possible to change the hex codes in game's exe file, so i dont have to apply the patch manually every time? If so which values should i change?

  • Copy TEKKEN7_1_14_BB_FOV_FIX.exe in the game folder TekkenGame\Binaries\Win64
  • Remove read-only attribute from TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.exe
  • Run TEKKEN7_1_14_BB_FOV_FIX.exe and apply patch to TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.exe

Is there any chance we could get this fixed for the Season 2 update @jackfuste?

I'm not sure if pinging works for this forum. Discord has RUINED me lol!

hi all
Does it work patch or trainer for TEKKEN 7 Ultimate Edition (not steam) ?

Here's trainer for any aspect ratio (tested on V1.14):

Tekken7_Fix_1_14.7z
(2.67 MiB) Downloaded 934 times

Run trainer
Run game and press "F1" in main menu

if it didn't work, then try:

Run game and Alt+tab it
Run trainer and press "F1"
Alt+tab to the game

Here's patcher:

TEKKEN7_1_14_BB_FOV_FIX.7z
(13.79 KiB) Downloaded 550 times

Patcher probably won't be work with steam version.

Copy TEKKEN7_1_14_BB_FOV_FIX.exe in the game folder TekkenGame\Binaries\Win64
Remove read-only attribute from TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.exe
Run TEKKEN7_1_14_BB_FOV_FIX.exe and apply patch to TekkenGame-Win64-Shipping.exe

Thankes.

Hi, is it maybe possible to get a fix for the current version? I'm on Steam and trying to run at 3440x1440 resolution. Sadly I only get a black screen with the current fixes. (without it works fine)

Anyway, many thanks for all the great work here!
Greetings
