Hi guys, I just bought a Recertified Acer xr341ck. Anytime there is a black screen, wether on startup, or in game, particularly space games like kerbal, there are faint vertical red lines, about one every 3 millimeters or so, all the way across the screen.
I've tried adjusting it, changing the gamma helps hide them a bit. Any clue what this might be, is it common, or anyway to fix it? Thanks for any and all help.
I can't return it, they basically told me I could keep it and refunded it. I bought a new one, which didn't show any lines, so I know it's not my video card, cable, or software. I just want sure if there was a setting in missing that might help, or if anyone is familiar with what this might be.
I was playing on selling it, but I didn't want to sell if it's indicative of a busted display, even though it is hardly noticeable. Thanks

Sounds like an internal connection problem, something from a faulty assembly rather than busted electronics. Not the kind of things you'd fix through the OSD anyway.
I'm sure you can sell it as long as you provide a picture of the issue up front. There are always people looking for problematic hardware: either because they have the knowledge to fix it or because they think a good bargain outweighs a minor hindrance !
