Hi,

i have pre-ordered a Asus PG348Q which i quite excited for and cannot wait to arrive.
Even though i haven't got it yet, there is one thing that i'm not to happy about and that is the stand
Its design is nice but the space it would take up on my desk would be a lot and the monitor would be sitting far too close to me as my desk is not that deep.

I'm quite new to monitor stands and arms.
Which one would be best suited for this monitor?

My current monitor, the Asus PB298Q has this stand and its square base perfect for my desk:

Thanks,
Dipak

It's a VESA compatible monitor so you can pretty much slap any type of stand you want on it. Sky and wallet is the limit.

Its just that i would need to find one that supports the weight of the screen. I saw somewhere that it weighs about 11KG with the included stand.
I wouldn't mind a arm stand as long as the panel doesn't drop lol

i found this one and it supports up to 31lbs which is about 14KG so i'm guessing its just about enough.

I know Jayztwocents uses an arm for his X34 Predator. It's basically the same size as the PG348Q.

Might not hurt to ask him what arm he uses.

He uses the Rosewill RHMS-11003 which i couldn't find for sale in the UK.
I also found the 7Flex® HD Monitor Arm which supports any monitor sizes as long as they don't weigh more than 31lbs which i'm guessing the PG348Q falls under without its original stand attached to it.
