New to Forum tonight and posted this on Eyefinity Discussion - realized that forum deals mostly with specific game issues, so figured might try here....

Have obviously an older Graphics card - Rad HD 5770 and average PC - AMD Phenom II 2.6 gig / 8 Gig Ram / Win 7 Pro-64 bit.

Stable W7 OS, updated with all current windows updates

So... 3 screen Eyefinity setup has worked great for 3 years, with 3 x LG 22" monitors. Original Connections of the LG screens to Radeon Card were: 2 x DVI-D to DVI-D, 1 x Display Port via Active adapter (using USB port) to DVI-D. All worked great.

Decided to upgrade to bigger / better monitors in December '14 - 3 x ASUS VN279-QL, since they had small 8mm bezels and VGA / HDMI / Display Port Connections - Sounded Good..

Updated Catalyst Control Center to latest version (14.12 AMD Catalyst Omega) and setup 3-monitor. All 3 screens active in desktop setup with full resolution, no problem - so assume card & video driver good.

However, when setting up Eyefinity Group, as soon as I set the display group, and hit apply, Video CRASHES (no monitor support). Only reboot in Safe Mode and restore point back 1 will get me a display again.

Tried pretty much everything with no luck. If any one has had similar issue / and fix, would greatly appreciate hearing from you.

PS My gaming habits are all Racing games - Need 4 Speed / DIRT / R-Factor etc..

Thanks, K

Update 02-10-15: Purchased an ASUS GTX-960 card at (what I think) is a great price point of $210 today. Installed no issues and Surround working great on my 3 monitors. Assume the old Radeon HD 5770 was either hurt or couldn't support the resolution of 3 x 27" monitors - either way, happy with the purchase (despite a number of very negative reviews I saw online !)

Thanks, Kev
