The HD Triple Stand XL description says "It isn't designed for 1+3 or 5x1 configurations", but the technical specs have "5x1-P Width" as one of the columns. Could someone clarify whether the XL supports portrait mode? I'm looking at using 24" displays.

The HD Triple XL only comes with three pivots, so there isn't enough hardware for a 5x1-P. I've got a couple of extra pivots you could purchase, if you wanted to do 5x1-P with the HD Triple XL and only have a short pole. It will do 3x1-P with the included hardware.

How much are the pivots each? Looking in to freight forwarders atm to try and defray some of the costs since I'm from Aus. I might end up buying a triple monitor stand for $169 locally for my middle three monitors, and use my current desk mounted stands for my side monitors. Heck of a lot cheaper, but no where near as smooth.

I happen to have two extra pivots I could add for $25. That would put you $25 less than the WSGF Edition.

I have been looking for a triple monitor stand that can fit 3 27" Crossover 2720MDP GOLD LED PIVOT monitors. Would either of these stands be sufficient enough to support them? I'd like some reassurance before I commit.

Would like to buy the Heavy Duty Quad stand through WSGF so I can put 3 (3xu2311h) over 1(u2913wm). As far as I can see this would fit, do you guys agree? Also would like to know how long it will take to ship it to the Netherlands?

Happy buyer here, I ordered a Triple XL from France. Package posted 12/15, received 12/28. Had to pay an extra 67€ VAT/customs tax upon delivery.

I had been using an Aavara VS743 for a year. Excellent value, but ultimately it's a mistake for an avid multi-mon gamer not to buy the best stand possible right away. Just like you buy monitors that will last through multiple GPU upgrades, a stand should last through monitor upgrades.

The Triple XL is not only bigger, it's better in every way.
The base is HUGE and super stable: no need for a third hand to secure the stand when you're mounting that third monitor. Maybe it's a bit slippery though, so that the entire stand tends to move on the desk when you manipulate the screens or branches. Adhesive rubber pads would have been nice.
The five-segment bar is a godsend. Just make sure to tighten the screws before mounting it on the pole, they're very loose out of the box and you want the branches to stay in position as you attach and adjust the screens.
16:9 24" is a bitch, even moreso with the Acer GD245HQ's massive bezels, so three of these hardly fitted side-by-side on the Aavara stand. Had to make the center screen overlap the other two to "fold" my triple-display into a natural angle. It's all over now and I can finally enjoy bezel-compensated games on a continuous display surface.
For some reason my right panel was also noticeably lower than the other two on the Aavara stand, and the Triple XL's clever height adjustment system fixed that too !

Thank you Messrs. Ergotech & Clarke

I have a question regarding this stand.

Can I use it a dual stand? I want to use a Dell U3011 in landscape mode and a Dell 2007FP in portrait mode, is this possible?

In the future I might add another 2007FP, but for now dual.

Thanks in advance!

The stand was designed to fit 27" monitors. I've not heard of that brand. Look at the physical height and width specs, and then compare to the info on the product page.

Yes, that should work. Double check the specs to make sure. I've got 3x U2211H over a U2913WM. I ship US Global Priority. Estimate is 6-10 days, outside of customs clearance.

Yes, that should work fine. The stand will be stable with two montors.
