They both use a 1.5" pole, so it should physically work. You are welcome to try it out, but Ergotech considers the part to be a custom product so returns aren't accepted. Are you doing for 5x1-P or a large 3x1?

Thank you for your response!

I would probably try it for a 3+1 landscape with 4x U2711.

At the moment I have them in 3x1 portrait +1standing next to it, but after some months I would prefer the 3+1 landscape option.

Btw, do you also offer shipping to Switzerland? I could get it sent to a friend in Germany, but they have a 19% import fee, while Switzerland only has like 7%...

Thanks again :-)

*edit*

ah just found it, it is 125$, meaning 300 in total..

Hello WSGF! I'm new to multi monitor'ing and not too tech savvy! :/ If you could take the time and answer my question, it'd be greatly apprecited!

I'm planning purchasing the HD Triple Stand XL (non WSGF version) and MUST know if these three monitors will fit!

ASUS VE278Q 27" x2
ASUS VG278H 27" x1 (center monitor)

Please let me know!

According to the HD Triple XL product page, it will handle monitors 25.5" wide. Checking the specifications page of your monitors

http://usa.asus.com/Display/LCD_Monitors/VG278H/#specifications

http://usa.asus.com/Display/LCD_Monitors/VE278Q/#specifications

We find that the VG278H and VE278Q are both 25.31" wide (643mm). Assuming that ASUS provides the right specs for their monitors, they will fit.

I'm distinctly unimpressed by the shipping rates to the UK, they're far higher than I pay over here (double in fact) to ship stuff of similar weight to the USA. Hopefully the stand itself will make up for that when it arrives and allow me to forget the raping of my wallet.

Any ideas on what sort of lead times to expect before shipping, shipping times etc?

I just found out late yesterday that the products are now on backorder. I hadn't had a chance to update the product pages (I have just done that). Expectation is that the products will be available "within a month". As soon as I have a better ETA, I will post that. If you need me to cancel the order and refund your money, I would be happy to do that.

I wish there was something I could do about the shipping. The box is 40 pounds, and measures 36" x 24" x 6". You can go to USPS and see the calculations. The base price is $155, and then Ergotech has their handling fees. UPS and FedEx are even more. At least you don't live in AUS...

No worries, I can handle the wait. It should be worth it just to free up the desk space. ;)

PS: Thanks for the quick response.
