Hey WSGF, I decided to come here since you're the experts on well, wide screen gaming.

I have this dilemma. I purchased those 20" hp monintors for 60$ each for my new computer. Now I need to select the parts for this new computer and I'm stuck on the gpu.

I simply don't know what to get.

I'll be buying on black friday, and so if the newer 69-- radeons come out by then, I'll look at them as well. But as of now, what should I get?

I play TF2, L4d2, source games in general (heavy cpu hogs) and some bfbc2.

My cpu is an oc'd 1055t at 3.8ghz.

It can be sli or crossfire, since I didn't get my mobo yet (reusing my cpu in the new build).

Thanks :) :cheers

What's your budget? Unless you ahv money to burm I'd you're probably better off with a sinelg e, pwoerful card instead of goign Crossfire/SLI. Do you ahve a PSU sufficient to run two cards?

ANd if you're willing to wait, then wait. The if latest AMD 6800 cardsa re any indicator, the 6900 sreies will be a good way to go.

Ah yes mm, the budget.

For the gpus, under 500$ would be nice. I still am building the rig and so I didn't buy the psu yet, I'm planning on getting a nice corsair hx750w though.

SLI/CFX doesn't matter, what ever delivers.
