holy crap, makes me want to do something similar (i do have 5 Dell S2309w Monitors) Someone else told me to do a 5x1 setup, but even now, the 5870 eyefinity6 edition doesn't support 5 monitor setups.

Curious, what are you using for mounts?

It's part of the Obutto chair, It comes with a three monitor stand, I used that and mounted some individual monitor arms to the end of it. Its definitely rigged up but works well.

What do you mean the eyefinity6 edition doesn't support 5 monitor setups?

Dave (ATI Rep Here) says that's it "currently" not supported. Basically it may be in the future, and since nVidia said they would support 5x1 and 6x1 setups, most like ATI will to.

after an evening of dremling/filing I present you my new almost seamless thin bezel setup

Its a shame I cant show it in full triple screen glory.I sold my TH2Go and the 5850 isn't here yet.

the bezels were almost 1.5 cm on each screen, and at an angled position they were even a bit wider.
thanks to cutting down the case they are now 0.7 cm wide.
Unfortunately, the LCD doesn't begin right where the metal edges of the screen are, so the bezels are more like 0.9 cm in total for each screen.
Well, I still saved like 0.6 cm on each side making it 1.2 cm less bezels

And it looks awesome because the left over gray bezels run around the edge of the 3 screens making it look like one

I got some in-progress pics if some of you are interested.

You motivated me to do this to my U2410's and 2405wpf. Very simple to do and it cuts out trims it down about ~1/4" on each monitor. I would like to make a mold of some sort of mold to make the appearance that it is all one unit. Any ideas?

I was toying with the idea of lazer-cutting thin aluminium sheetmetal in one-piece and the anodize it in black..

If you would keep the bezels on the outsides large enough it would mask the stripped monitors.
From the front it would look like a one-piece bezel.. On the positions where the monitors touch each other you could bend the sheet..

Let me work this out in CAD..
