Post subject:  Question regarding TH2GO dig VS. Eyefinity setup...

OK, not sure if this is the right place for this topic, so feel free to move it if necessary.

I have been doing TONS of reading through threads on wether to go TH2GO or Eyefinity... I just scored 2 5850s to run in crossfire for my new build (i920, EclipsePlus mobo). I have 3xBenq M2400HD 24" diplays for my triple screen setup.

I guess the question is..I ordered a TH2GO Digital BEFORE I knew I was going ATI (My original plan was 2 GTX285s, since I coud NOT find any of the 58XX series cards..hence TH2GO was my only option. I got lucky on Amazon and pulled the trigger, and they will be in Monday). Any thoughts on wether to keep the TH2GO, or return it and get the 100.00 dp to DVI adaptor to do Eyefinity and hope for Crossfire support...

I am mostly a wanting to run Crysis, Far Cry, Half Life 2, etc...

Hope this is enough info...any suggestions are welcomed, as I have been out of the loop for some time, and am back in with a vengeance!

Well sorry to say, the Triplehead2Go wont work with your 5850, at least not yet. I'd say return it if you want to get right into Surround Gaming.

bummer.... in all of my reading I somehow ovelooked the fact that the HD 5XXX series doesn't work.

Well this further complicates my decision, as now I HAVE to decide wether to keep the Radeons and wait for crossfire driver supprt, or return THOSE and go back to my original plan of doing 2 GTX285s SLI'd with the TH2GO.

My head hurts :?
