Hi all,

I am wondering what is the cheapest nvidia card that can support 3 screens at once. The situation I have is I currently run 6 screens (two rows of 3). The bottom 3 are plugged into a GTX 670 and the top outside two into a Quadro 1800 (don't judge - it's all I had kicking about). The bottom 3 are set in span and use for gaming while the top 3 are used for things like GUPZ and a VM for chat etc.

I have a gtx 970 on it's way and am doing a rejig. I want to have the 970 drive the bottom and something else to drive the top 3. Obviously performance is not really an issue for the top 3 and I would like to not drive the top middle from the 970 leaving it free to do the surround (and optionally my OSVR headset).

So - given that performance is not an issue - what is the cheapest card that can drive the top 3 screens - ideally without needing an extra power lead. This is to go into a work station so massive case and 1400 PSU - hopefully this will manage most things.

Everso
