New to this WSG stuff, hoping for some help.

I'm using 2x 670s in SLI, currently I have two apple cinema display 27" monitors and a 24" dell 2007WFP. The apple monitors are connected to the single dp port, and the other one through an atlona dp400 mini dp to dual-link dvi adapter. The 24" dell monitor is connected to the 2nd dvi port via a single link dvi cable (only one i had lying around). Everything is connected to the leftmost card (SLI master).

Now I don't expect surround to work in the circumstances right now; even if all the monitors are hard set to 1080p with a 60Hz refresh rate, but I'm wondering whether if I got a 3rd ACD 27" with a dp400, connected where the dell monitor is, would this work?

Also, I see this "utility monitor" mentioned in the guide on nvidia's site. Is this a 4th monitor or the middle monitor? Any pointers, references to FAQs or guides would be welcome.

Thanks

I've gotten a better idea on how this works now. Leftmost card should have a monitor on DP, one on DVI out #1, rightmost card should have a monitor on DP or DVI out #1.

I'm still curious about running 3x apple monitors when using the Atlona DP400 mdp to DVI adapter. At the moment, with one monitor hooked up with a mini DP to DP adapter and an Atlona box, I am getting a message that seems to implicate that the two apple displays might have compatibility problems.

Should I spring for two more of the Atlona devices and go all DVI?
