I just saw this on guru3d.com in thier driver section. The 32 bit XP driver download shows...

NVIDIA_DEV.MultiView.01 = "NVIDIA MultiView"
NVIDIA_DEV.Win2KDualView.01 = "NVIDIA Dualview"

What I thought is so interesting is it's the XP driver?

http://downloads.guru3d.com/Forceware-195.94-XP-(32-bit)-Beta-download-2452.html

Anyone have XP installed to see if there is anything of note working in it? Does this have anything to do with 3DVS, or am I misinterpriting things?

I might have a poke around if I can find where I put my slipstreamed XP disc. :oops:

I'm not so sure it has anythign to do with 3DVS, but my confusion is why they'd put those dev video card types in that new driver?

XP drivers have supported spanned display modes for a long, long time...but only across the display heads on a single card. I believe that's what the "MultiView" line is referring to. This is not the same thing as 3DVS, and will only let you span across two screens, not three.

I just reformatted and reinstalled XP with a clean install of the 196 drivers.

Options for Multiple Displays are:
Single
Clone
Horizontal Span
Vertical Span
Dual View (Configured Separately)

Nothing about spanning all three.
