Hi everyone, just joined and glad to be here.

At the moment, I have a triple monitor setup which consist of three Asus monitors

2 x VN248h-p for left and right monitor
1x VG248qe for my center monitor
It is being hold together by a third party triple monitor stand

I have plan to upgrade my center screen to something bigger so my plan was to rotate my left and right monitor and find a center screen that matches the height
I wonder whether any experts here on the forum can give recommendation for my center display.

Let me know if my description is unclear so i can elaborate more.

Thanks in advance.

I think you are talking about PLP layouts (portrait, landscape, portrait). Here's a link to 23 screens whose perceived pixel size line up perfectly, once monitors are positioned. I.e. All 23 work well, & some excellent. Ratings given are bit subjective, but gamers likely have personal preferences/requirements, which will help you choose.

Many of these layouts have some side-hang, which is not a problem for PLP (& has functional benefits). A few do physically line up perfectly, for gamers interested in external aesthetics.

Link is to parent page of PLP monitor layouts. It also shows general recommendations & details on how layouts were rated.

BUT you will not find your 24" 1080p sides on this list. I will look it, for centers that match. But I doubt any good options exist. At best, likely you will have long side hang to contend with. UPDATE: I may be wrong. I have not properly check massive center screens. Doing now, some potential for beautiful setup.

Will update here with results, but maybe tomorrow. If nothing matches your sides, you should start over fresh. Buy your ideal setup. Recommend cheap used sides & spend your money on the center. Center matters far more than sides, which are primarily for peripheral vision.

Sorry chriqro, above post had fitment errors (outdated, I will gut it in a second). I have done more testing since & thought you should be updated. I hope you see this new post, for closer match to your needs.

Setup that will work well with your 24" viewable 1920x1080 side monitors:
24-32-24, using 2560x1440 center. PPI is extremely close, great match.

Here is a link to your 24" side monitor size. From there, click your setup link under PLP Layouts. Your layout is in a group entry, so should scroll up for group's general details.
