Hi all, Recently acquired a couple of 17" screens, and put them in portrait alongside my 24" 16:10. So i have [Left 1024 x 1280 on HDMI>DVI cable] [Center 1920 x 1200 on DVI] [Right 1024 x 1280 on DVI] Card is an R9 280x - CPU i5 3570K and 8 gig ram. What i'd like to do is get some games happening in [Wide 3968 x 1200] Seems Eyefinity is not an option, a little disappointing. So far in windowed mode 1920 x 1200 games work if i put the window across 2 screens. Is there a way to force 3968 x 1200 res in games? I have tried messing with config files and Flawless Widescreen, and no luck. Searching the forums shows a DX9 tool (forget name) but no solid results. |

the new AMD Drivers support Eyefinity with different resolution Monitors! So you could setup a 3x1 Landscape setup. |

SoftTH, is a DX9 tool that allows you to map a game over multiple monitors in various configuration like the configuration you are trying to achieve, but it is of cause limited to DX9 only. Sadly there are no other free/cheap alternatives for a PLP to be seen as a single large surface to be able to play games on it. There is a way to do this with a bit of hardware, but it is not cheap, ~£800-1000 for a Datapath X4 video wall controller |

It is very depressing how little the world knows about PLP. There are plenty of options, you just need to find them. I know this message isn't helpful, but I don't know where to start. ...v81's monitors are not ideal for PLP, that is the start. They will work and be fun, but not ideal. |
