I wouldn't say 3DVision or Surround is flawless with this game. The crosshair is still 2D at screen depth without any way to disable it, and the water sometimes renders incorrectly with the highest quality selected. TressFX in surround is also borked, as Lara's hair has a permanent blur effect applied to it in surround with this feature enabled, and it also flashes.

my 3D surround experience exactly. blurry TressFX and way off the mark crosshair being my two biggest issues with the game; TressFx can be turned off, but crosshair is just incredibly annoying.

The reason why it doesn't work properly for some quad/crossfire users will be the same reason flawless widescreen doesn't properly detect quad/crossfire.... AMD's API's are broken.

Bet single cards work perfect.

At least for Dual-CrossFire and 3x1 setup it worked flawless out of the box.
TressFX looks pretty nice.

Aside from the annoying CTDs, this game is amazing. It uses more vram than any other game I've played and I'm really loving having 3GB worth. I for one like the hair effects.

I think I've explained bad, I use Eyefinity and what I want is for Widescreen Fixer recognize the new Tomb Raider for out correctly on screen menus. Since I'm playing at 1920x1080 to 5760x1080 when it should.

A greeting.

I've found out, by editing Regedit, eg to 16:9, what to put there?
9000 o 10000

A greeting.

it looks like my comment didn't post. the "auto" aspect ratio is kinda broken for me, it does let me change it to 16:9 but i'm not sure if thats what it actually should be, it looks a little close up in cut scenes. running on 2 2gb 5850's with eyefinity 3x1 on 23" monitors with a resolution of 6040x1080 because of bezel correction 5750x1080 normally

In regedit, find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Crystal Dynamics\Tomb Raider\Graphics\AspectRatio and set it to DA76 (which is 55926 in hex, which is 6040/1080 * 10000).

I should note that the cutscenes on my system are vert- which kinda sucks but otherwise the menus and game and everything else works as expected.

As above, to find the value to enter simply divide the width of your setup by the height, multiply by 10,000, then convert to hex (or simply click the "decimal" radio button in regedit when entering the value). In the example above, nicksmizzle has a width of 6040 after bezel correction and a height of 1080. So, 6040/1080 * 10000 = 55926, which converts to DA76 in hex.

In my case for 5760x1080 is D055 in Hexadecimal or 53333 Decimal.

A greeting.

Yes yes,,, what I wanted to say is there are no artifacts in game (lights, shadows etc render perfect)... The crosshair is ANNOYING as HELL I know!!!!! The TressFX crap? That is AMD only...dont expect to work on nVidia gear any time soon ( I think it will never work) As for the water...hmm I don't have any problems and I am playing on Ultimate config with minor tweaks... What I did disable was the Precision thingie and SSAO put to normal... Also DOF makes no sense in 3D so you can disable that also ( you will not see it and its 2D also). Maybe that will help that:)

Best Regards,
Helifax
