I'v used http://widescreengamingforum.com/fovcalc.php that Guide. And have gotten the HUDlayout.res and Edited it. But there is no way of placing it back into the cstrike/scripts folder. You can only extract with the Program they recommend to use and you cannot access that folder without the program. I am in a conundrum. Help is appreciated thank you!

You need to place the hudlayout.res file into the games folder, not back inside the ncg/gcf pack fils.

IE.. Steamsteamappscommoncounterstrikescriptshudlayout.res
ps, I do not own counterstrike so I am unsure of the exact path names but it should look something like the above.

Yes I understand that. But there is no Script folder is my problem.

Update. You have to create the Scripts folder. Created folder put .res file in and all is working fine! Thank you for pointing me at that thread!
