Hey guys

What's your eyefinity/NVSurround performance in Duke Nukem Forever?
Mine is only about 60 - ish fps. Right after I close the menu it stays at 250 for a couple of seconds then goes back down again ...
Am I missing something?

"Only" 60?

You can turn off Post Processing and Blur without much if a visual difference. Are you actually getting a measured 60fps, or are you guessing?

From fraps. I need at least 120 to max out my screens like in fear2 project origin that game ran so smooth at 150 fps it feels like real life

I pretty much found it to be capped at 60fps - never saw a frame higher in-game, at the menu's 800-1000+ FPS... this is at all resolutions.

Core i7 @ 4.26Ghz + ATI 5870...

(yes, vsync is off... see menu FPS)

This game is Unreal Engine 2.5 right?

Look for the FPS smoothing variable in the config file and change it to off or make the max smoothed FPS higher.

What config file? I've not found one that is vaguely useful. They've compiled everything into what appear at first glance (and to my inexpert eyes) to be encrypted dat files. It might be Unreal engine, but it's locked down tight.

I get about 45-50 fps with a single 5850 at 5916x1080, full settings and AA off.
