Post subject:  Source Based Games - No Crosshair in Surround

This goes back to Half Life 2 for me when lots of us here had no crosshair in surround. Most of us just worked around the problem with the CM10 mod.

Now the problem has creeped up again with Portal 2, and I am playing Half Life Source for the first time in surround and have no crosshair in that game either.

I have been trying to find a work around with 3rd party crosshair programs, but its risky and can lead to a ban for cheating.... I think its time we try to lobby for a fix on source games that have this issue.

Its effecting many users and many games, and its probably a easy fix honestly. So if we can push this through the return on our efforts could be pretty big.

True in Portal 2, but I played Half Life 2 not too long ago and i had normal HUD the whole way through.

One would figure that if any dev would get this fixed, it'd be Valve.

Crosshairs are perfect in tf2 but enlarged in l4d1/2, but they are there.

Yeah not all games are effected. It seems TF2 and L4D2 are good ones.

Half Life Source
Half Life 2

3 I have confirmed with no crosshair.

would be nice if we could get them to fix how source handles the HUD and tooltip hint popups
