Post subject:  COD: Black Ops Screen Resolution Issues

Hi all

I have been following this forum and website for a couple of years but have only just joined the surround 3D gaming user base so a big wave to you all and a big thank you for all the information you guys post - it was very helpful in my decision making process :)

I have the following set-up and can not select the correct screen resolution in Black ops and wondered if anyone else is having this issue.

Intel Core i7 980X 3.33GHz (Gulftown)
12 Gb DDR3 Ram
2 EVGA GTX580 SSC in SLI
3 Acer GD245HD 24in 3D screens native res 1920x1080
Nvidia 3D Vision glasses
Windows 7 64 bit (Fresh install) with Latest 263.09 Ge-force drivers and latest 3D Vision drivers

I can select a Windows resolution of 5760x1080 and it fills all 3 screens in surround just fine.

I can play Medal of Honour Tier 1 just fine in 3D with a resolution of 5760x1080.

I cannot get Black ops to select 5760x1080 at all in the game settings. I have reinstalled the drivers and the game but still nothing. I have also tried to force the config.cfg to 5760x1080 but nothing.

The maximum resolution i can select in the game is 4363x768 and when selected it updates the config.cfg file with this setting.

Any help is much appreciated

Just spotted this thread and tried COD: Black Ops without the Nvidia Bezel Correction and it fixed the resolution issue.

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=21124

With Nvidia Bezel Correction OFF COD:Black Ops see the correct 5760x1080 resolution in the Game Video Settings so there is an issue with this game and Bezel correction resolutions

Hope this helps other users and hopefully Treyarch will fix this in a patch
