I'm confused as to why the MatroxDual2Go download compatibility program is recommending analog for my system. Can anyone shed some light on this?

This is what I've got:
XP-Home
2.75 RAM
3.33GHz Int.Duo E8600 Proccessor
GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB video card
2-Acer 22" Monitors with DVI jacks

Thanks,

Mitch

Hi and welcome to the fourns :)

Maybe it supports what your system does. I.E., your monitors natvie resolution, etc.
If it will allow your system to run at the specs it is supoose to run at, then DH2Go Analog would be the one you need.
Why recommend a more advanced unit, if your system can't use it's benefits.

I'm just guessing though.

Regardless if it can support you monitors resolution, the Digital TH2go will give you a better picture and it'll allow for some expansion where as you might have to buy another model if you want to upgrade later.

Thanks for the replies guys. Since then, I've been able to stretch my screen over both screens using both outputs on my current video card. What will I actually gain with the Digital TH2go or Digital DH2go?

Currently, I stretch my cockpit screen over about 4" of the monitor on the right and use the remaining space for instruments. Frame rates are pretty good.

Hi again

DH2Go will allow you come out of your GFX card and into the DH unit and from there to two panels. Those two panels will act like one double wide desktop. Games will run across both screens.

You can use your second gfx card output to hook up a third monitor. On it you can place your GPS, instruments, etc.
At least I think that will work.

Better would be TripleHead2go or AMD's Eyefinity.
That way your main view will be on a center screen without the bezels being right down the middle.
You can resize and move the gps, instruments, etc to the side screens, if you wanted to.
You could even use a forth screen for gps, etc. from your gfx cards extra output.

So if I'm already spreading across both screens using my dual output on my video card is there any gain other than being able to hook-up a third monitor? Increase frame rates etc..??

Thanks for the input,

Mitch

No, probably not.
Unless you need the extra output for a 3rd monitor, you probably won't see any difference with DH2Go.
