I'm in the process of building my new PC for the purpose of TH2Go gaming. The one thing left for me to look into are the monitors. There's 2 things I can't find an answer to (the forums were a HUUUUGE help for everything else though :D ) 1) I'm thinking of grabbing a set of Dell 2208WFP 22" widescreen monitors. Anyone using this model? How well does it handle 3x1680x1050 @57Hz? It's the 57Hz bit that worries me. 2) I'm also looking for a triple monitor stand. Everything I've found so far is only capable of holding 3 standard ratio monitors. The only thing coming close is this Ergotron. But even then, it seems the monitors are too big. Anyone know of anything else that's available? |

I hung my three 24" LG monitors on my wall for $150. I used a ($50 Target) flat panel flush mount for my center monitor. And two ($50 Lowes) swivel mounts for my side monitors. It worked extremely well! The four screw holes for the bracket mounts per monitor are pretty much standard at 3 7/8" apart I believe they are. |

Exactly what I was looking for, thank you. A question though, in one of your pictures, it shows the side monitor mounted on the very edge of the arm. How securely attached is it? It looks as if the mounting could slip off the arm if I so much as touch the monitor! Still this is the best solution I've come across so far. One thing I'm worried about is the monitor dimensions. Could you tell me what your general LCD dimensions are (height, width, depth)? If the Dells are much thicker than yours, then they'd need a longer arm to accomodate the smaller radius needed to set them side by side. If that's the case, then this stand would be too small for my needs. |

Exactly what I was looking for, thank you. Yes, they are mounted on the very edge, but the clamp has a dial you turn to tighten them onto the arm. I haven't had a problem with anything falling off. I'll measure my 3 monitors tonight when I get home and let you know. |
