Hey all,

C&C 3 is awful in full triple widescreen resolution. So I'd like to play it on one screen (I suppose I'll attempt that firmware update at some point). But for now, I can't select anything other than 800x600 and 1024xXXX in C&C 3, or even for my desktop. Though the desktop also has the 4080x768.

So I assumed I needed to use the GXM Setup to add other resolutions to the 4 you can have set at one time. This seems to make no difference even after reboot, though. Not even the Desktop settings shows anything other than 4080, the 1024, and the 800.

I'd like to play on a single monitor at 1680x1050 for native res... anyone have any ideas?

Editing the Options.ini file for C&C3 is how I forced it into the 4080 res. But it doesn't seem to work for forcing it into 1680. It just defaults to 800x600. Also interesting to note is that when I first installed the PowerDesk and set things up, I had choices of all three triple wide res's in Desktop Settings: the 4080, and the 3840, etc. Now I have only the one ultra widescreen choice, and then the 800x600 and 1024, and the 'Add' resolutions in GXM isn't changing my choices.

The max res per screen according to the TripleHead2Go is 1280x1024, and this makes Windows think that higher resolutions aren't valid. Uncheck the "hide modes that this monitor cannot display" box and 1680x1050 should be listed.
