I currently own a 24" Dell and would like to go to triple monitors for gaming purposes. Am I best to just go out and buy 3 new monitors or is there a way I can use my 24" without stretching the image? Was hoping there might be a simple solution like: 19" - 24" - 19" or 20" - 24" - 20" |

After some more reading it looks like I'll be going 3 x 19" monitors @ 1280x 1024. |

Thanks for the welcome :) I wasn't aware of SoftTH until you mentioned it  I had read that thread, I can't believe I missed it. By the looks of it I'll be running SoftTH with my 24" and a couple of 19's as a temp solution. Will then eventually move to TH2G Digital with 3x 19's and then maybe work something out with the 24" so it will become the 4th... and maybe... just maybe I'll get a 2nd 24" as my 5th. Will run it as such: .......24"......-......24"....... ..19"....-....19"....-....19".. ................ME................. :D |

So i'm almost ready to buy my 3x 19" LCDs and need some help with choosing. I was looking at the 19" Dell on dell.com.au for $299. Would this one be good for some widescreen goodness? :) Also it's a 5:4 monitor correct? Considering it says 1280x1024 on the specs I'm assuming so. Does anyone know if these ones have thin bezels? I want to reduce the amount of space between each screen. Would there be much of a difference between this and those thin bezel BenQ's or Samsung ones. |

Widescreen means a 16:9 or 16:10 monitor, not 5:4. 19" monitors with native resolutions of 1280x1024 are not widescreen. You are talking about surround gaming or triplehead gaming, which can be done on widescreen or standard res monitors. |

And ...24"...-21"...-...24"...? A 21" visible screen size is 432 x 324mm, the 24" 518,4 x 324mm (WxH). I have already 2 24". Could it be a possible solution? P.S. My first post :D |

Whatever combination you have it will come down to the fact that the resolution output by the TH2Go will be split evenly and equally across the three monitors. If those three monitors are not the same native resolution and/or 5:4 then you will get various degrees of scaling distortion and/or size mismatch issues. Perhaps the next version will allow you to set where the splits are so that you can specify the pixel resolution per screen. |
