I have a connector that allows me to connect my Xbox360 to my Sony FW900 WS monitor. I have the audio going via the comp and I switch out between input 1 and 2 so we get the sound via the comp and the monitor displays the image from the Xbox360 unit. My question is about using this along with the Matrox unit. Anyone use the TH2G with a console like PS3/Xbox360? Did it work or what were the issues (If any)? Thanks! |

I assume that the TH2GO would simply display the image on the center monitor. The image resolution coming out of the PS2/3/Wii/Xbox/Xbox360 isn't going to be a wide "surround" resolution that requires multiple monitors. It works on PC because you can set the resolution of your PC to a wide resolution. |

Could be. The Xbox360 does have some WS options but not sure that multiple monitors is one of them. If anyone has the TH2G and just happens to have a 360/PS3 please try it out and let me know. |

I'm pretty confident that if this box worked with a console, Matrox would have a BIG stick on the packaging. I think it needs a computer to work.... |

I don't think it needs a computer per say (and by the way, the XBox360 is just as much a computer as the one on which I'm typing this), it just needs to be fed an graphical input that is 4 times wider than it is tall. The XBox360 does not do that, so that' the end of the story for the time being. There is a triplehead solution for the 360 and Forza 2, though. It requires 4 XBox360's, 4 screens (including a small one for the rearview mirror), and 4 copies of the software. A true brute force engineering design if there ever was one. |
