"Further resolutions up to 3840x1024 for Tri-screen configurations "

Has anyone tried this driver? I think it may only work up to the x19xx generation of ati cards.

Does this mean that soon we'll be able to use ati cards instead with the th2go?

I don't think the DHzer0point 0.64 driver will support any R600 cards.

...But this one might do it : DHzer0point 0.69 ;)
http://www.driverheavendownloads.net/zeropoint.htm

btw...
I have called ATI support (GER) yesterday and tried to find out, if the resolution is limited by the drivers or not.
2560x1600 in dual link mode ist the max res those cards can do with Catalyst.
"what, if i use other drivers like omega or zeropoint?"
The guy was like this: "YOU SHALL NOT USE OTHER DRIVERS BESIDE THE REAL ONE" :D, but he also said it might be possible and I will recive an email, when he finds out something about this...
1 day passed and no answer.

same with Matrox, but I have only sent an email to them.

Little Update guys (... and girls ;) )
I just received a call from Matrox support.
(god, I was so surprised, that the only thing I was able to say was "hmm..yes... hmm..yes..yes..thank you" *click* - I never saw such a friendly and good support (most companies never react on questions).

well... anyway, the result was, that she couldn't tell me if this card supports this resolution. But she told me to check compatibility by downloading and running a tool from their site
(http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/gxm/support/th2go/tool/home.php)

well.. if someone has a ATI X1.... card, it would be great if he/she could download the programm it, use one of those mod-drivers and run this tool.
Perhaps there is also someone with a X2900 card who has some minutes for testing this out.

I got a mate to try it out on his x1950pro, and he got the same result with the standard drivers as he did with the DHzer0point 0.69. That matrox tool says everythings supported but will only go up to 3x 1024x768.

I got the same result here at work (onboard graphic) and I thought "ok, it's an old chipset, so it won't be supported.. "

but a X1800 is definately supported by Matrox.. It's even on the compatibility list! --> "ATI Radeon X1800 Series"

well..somehow I get the feeling, that this programm *might* not be the best method to find an answer... ;)

Anybody here with access to a th2g and a HD2900 XT ? :D

littel update:

I have ordered a Palit/Xpertvision X1950 GT 512MB (hope I can flash it to a Pro version^^) yesterday and when it arrives, I will try some alternative drivers.

Perhaps I could get a th2g for some days and see the results under real circumstances, but not before next week.
wish me some luck ;)

AFAIK the X1X00 Series goes only up to 2400x600 in 3D mode....
