I see a Benq with a 13mm bezel that says its the thinnest in the world I see an NEC that says IT is the thinnest bezel in the world, and if I am reading it right, it touts a 7mm bezel Looking for something reasonably priced and good for gaming. |

I'm running 3 BenQ 19" monitors, the 2ms model (FP93G X). They do indeed have 13mm bezels (about 8mm with the plastic bezels removed if you're that way inclined). Overall the image isn't bad, but it's not super duper either. When gaming it's fine, but normal text is a little weak but for such a cheap price it's worth it imo. It's worth mentioning that these BenQ's do have a very nice feature, and that's the OSD menu navigation system. There's 6 buttons on the bezel to navigate through the OSD and it really is easy to navigate through with so many buttons. The reason I mention this is because setting the horizontal position (on the outer monitors) is a real breeze, and so I can quite quickly and easily set my outer screens up to remove the bezel overlap, to get rid of the jagged lines where the outer and central monitors join. If you know what I mean. But even better still, there's another button on the bezel which I can push to pop them back into normal operating position again when I'm done gaming. Hope this helps. Regards, Mr Pibb. |
