Greetings - I have had my triple screen setup with TH2G now for 6 months. Of course the gaming is incredible. But now I am starting to do a lot more graphics and media work in Windows as well. Doing this via VGA output is pretty bad - the resolution just isn't that good. Matrox won't officially announce that they are working on a TH2G Digital Edition (similar to the DH2G Digital Edition they recently came out with) so if you want DVI connectivity now you have to look elsewhere. So is there a way to hook up 3 monitors via DVI connections, run all 3 screens at native resolution (for Windows), and still be able to have excellent gaming surround performance like with TH2G? If this is doable via either hardware or software please be specific. What about more than 1 video card? Relevant machine specifications: ASUS A8N32-SLI AMD 64X2 Dual Proc. 2GB Corsair 2TB Hard Disk (4x500gb) BFG 7950FX2 1GB Video card Windows XP Professional SP2 DirectX 9.0c 3 Dell 20" LCD Monitors + TH2G Thanks - Mark |

You could get your left and right screens on a DVI connection when not using the TripleHead2Go in a triplehead resolution (i.e. using it in a single-monitor resolution on the desktop). To do this you would need dual-input monitors on the left and right, each having one VGA connection and one DVI connection, and you would need a secondary GPU with DVI output. It wouldn't help the center monitor, though... I don't know how you could get around that problem. |

Why not use the SoftTH to accomplish this using DVI? My understanding of the SoftTH idea is that you can use digital signals to accomplish what the TH2Go does. |

@mbeede Mark - I have a similar type of setup. You might want to look at what I posted in another thread. http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=91267&highlight=#91267 Let me know if you have any questions. For me - whenever I had to change from SLi to non-SLi - half the time it would ask me to reboot. My system boots fairly fast.. so I just thought this would be the best idea for my use. I love my 4800x1200 in windows! But I still need my widescreen gaming! Chuck had an image which is basically the same as this one below.

@mbeede @b0n3z Using this setup, does the 4800x1200 desktop appear as one LARGE screen... or does Windows recognize each individual monitor? |

The 4800x1200 desktop in that case would be recognized as 3 individual monitors. |

[quote]The 4800x1200 desktop in that case would be recognized as 3 individual monitors. Great. Thanks! Now I guess I'll have to find three 16x12 LCD's that have Dual DVI input as I plan on getting the TH2GO Digital when it comes out. OT I know... but does anyone have any suggestions? |
