TripleHead2Go users...

Greetings - I am expecting my TripleHead2Go unit to arrive today. I have a question about setup...

I would like to have a 10' VGA cable running from my PC to the THTG so that it is near my 20" LCD monitors. I paid a lot ($100) for this cable, so it's a real good one. Then I can use small VGA cables to connect to each monitor from the THTG. That will save me a lot of $$$.

Question - Can I use the 10' VGA like this with the THTG box? I.e. is there anything different or unique about the Matrox VGA cable that forces me to use IT to connect from the PC to the THTG? Otherwise, I am looking at 3 of these 10' VGA cables to connect to the THTG, which I did not want to do.

Thanks in advance!

Mark

Nope, nothing special; you can use any 15-pin VGA cable that you want.

Of course signal degradation over a VGA run that long is a concern, but it sounds like you are trying to eliminate that. In any regard, it shouldn't be any different than connecting a single monitor using that cable.
