in prototype2engine.dll at 9C40h i found 80020000E0010000 (640x480)
when i changed it to 1680000004380000 or 1680000043800000 (5760x1080, not sure where the 0 went so i tried both)

640x480 disappeared from the resolution list, i tried changing my res to 640 and then copying the dll, but then it changed to 800x600

So then I'm assuming it didn't start off the game at 5760x1080?

Prototype 2 eyefinity fix - steam version as follows:
right click on game, select properties, click SET LAUNCH OPTIONS and paste this( change to resolution you want )
RESOLUTION=5040x1050@60

the cut scenes are messed up but game looks good, i dunno about non steam version, id imagine its just a regular launch option also

*EDIT* added the first line to increase hits for you guys.

Am on 680s SLI no issues at all, hope you figure it out on cross fire maybe an update will come out soon for the cross fire profile if not.

cheers man, i actually tried it without crossfire and its only using 14-70% of the gpu most of the time with less than 30FPS( vsynch off ), i think its an overall AMD driver issue rather than a crossfire one, so hopefully they'll have something soon( on the latest June betas with 7.1 CAP )

Just out of curiosity, is there a different fix besides using the Steam options?

Still holding out for a retail version fix. :( Anyone jsut try adding taht RESOLUTION=5040x1050@60 (or somethign liek it) to shortcut?

Same, works very well! Although in-game cut-scenes are cropped in, still works nicely!

My shortcut looks like this...

"E:Program Files (x86)PROTOTYPE 2prototype2.exe" RESOLUTION=6404x1152@60

Obviously, substitute your res and refresh rate. ;)

I can also confirm this works on the retail version. Here is a screenshot in case you're wondering. Cut scenes are a a bit zoomed but not intolerable.

i try everything , ininstal FLT and instal BlackBox but nothing , skidrow ckrak didn`t work too , idk what to do :/

Thanks for the info guys, RESOLUTION=6048x1200@60 is working perfectly for me. Sucks that I played through most of the game not knowing there was an Eyefinity fix for it. lol

it runs like absolute crap if you revert to just 1 screen, i gave up on eyefinity for this, im playing it @1680x1050, max settings but min AA and medium shadows and it will drop to 5 FPS regularly, i have to ALT + TAB out of the game and back again to get the FPS back to normal. I thought it might be a mem leak but u applied the addressing above 2Gig hack but it didnt do anything. I have to retry eyefinity with the ALT + TAB trick as it was working well initially.

Im running it on 2x6790's OC'd with an i7 920 CPU at 3.7GHz

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the tips in this thread. Finally have Prototype 2 running on my 3 monitor eyefinity.

For those having issues with crossfire and this game, have you tried fully deleting and installing the new 12.8 drivers. I just ran P2 at 5040x1080 with dual Gigabyte 6850OC, and it kept between 45-66fps the whole time, with 86%-98% card utilisation on both cards.
