I didnt change anything at all, the UI was just centered at first launch.

I have installed the whole Catalyst suite 11.2 and 11.4 with the same results.
I didn't modify anything!

I don't know why it is centered but the campaign map is quite annoying with the city names this way...

It works fine on other games, let's say Bad Company 2.

But Shogun.... it will be the end of me :)

Mine are not identical, same resolution tho.
I got 2*226BW of samsung and 1 Dell P2210. The dell is connected with display-port and in the center, the other monitors are connected over dvi...

If anybody has any clue in which files the HUD is stored I will upload it for you guys.

FYI I am running windows 7 64 bit ultimate.
Within a week I get a new pc and we will see if my HUD stays in the center.

Centered HUD would be nice, it's too hard to play the game otherwise.

Also in the demo, there were some graphical glitches like the shadows looking too pixellated for Surround gaming mode. Did they fix that in retail?

HUD did not center on my system. Win 7 64 bit, dual 560ti 2GB

Only glitches I noticed was videos stretched on all 3 monitors. Game itself played well.

CILLER, don't tell me your cinematics are not stretched, either ??

One Eyefinity guy has a centered HUD in Shogun 2. And one (other) Eyefinity guy had non cut-off menus in Alpha Protocol. And yet all other Eyefinity guys don't have these. I'm one puzzled Nv Surround guy right here. :?

Not so much cinematics but startup movies are centered, allso subtitles of the generals speeches are nicely on the middle monitor. The best part even is, it keeps my bezel correction in account so no HUD items behind the bezel!
Loading screens (the background image) are vert-

So still no solution on how to get the game to detect an eyefinity setup...?

Have a sega support ticket out, maybe they have an idea.... Will let you know if they come up with something...

I was wondering if anyone else can see avatar conquest map in multiplayer. If I switch to single monitor it works, but at 5760x1200 it doesn't show up?

I can run it now thanks to 11.4p drivers! yay. 11.2 wasn't fast enough fps so it felt laggy in eyefinity and I just played one monitor landscape.

I play play portrait mode 3240x1920 btw. HUD centers nicely be default on the center monitor. Videos/intro vid are a bit small. The winning video stretches horrible on the center screen only. I can use the other left and right monitors on the campaign just fine, but battle map makes the center mon always stay centered and mousing to left and right monitors turns the screen.

So playable for me, but a few minor issues. Graphics are amazing though for dx9 they beat a lot of the dx11/10 stuff I've seen. I can't wait to see dx11.

Did you do anything special to get the HUD to center?

What kind of ati catalyst options do you use?

Any info would be apriciated so we get to the bottom of this.

wooohooooo

hey guys ive just found something that worked for me to get the HUD centered.

in your catalyst control center, go to video, then video settings.

then under advanced quality, UNCHECK the enable checkbox for Edge-enhancement.

this worked for me immediately.

Hey I wonder if that will also fix the blurry edges I've been noticing in games like Total War lately when using triple-wide resolutions?

I can't find anything similar to Edge enhancement in nvidia drivers. :(

I dunno, wouldn't unchecking 'Vignette' in the game options fix this already ?

Unfortunately this didn't work. Anyone come up with any solutions? Im pulling my hair out. Have a number of open threads on the Shogun forums but theres no help there either. I just built my pc last week, running a simple 3x1 landscape Eyefinity. The HUD on the edges makes the game unplayable :( I've seen YouTube vids with the centered UI and they said they didnt have to do anything special. SO FRUSTRATING.

Do you have the dvd version or the Steam version? I spoke with someone who had a centered UI and he had the dvd version. My Steam version does not have the centered UI.

Even if you bought the DVD, this is a Steamworks game, so... Kind of a moot point, isn't it ? Or is it ? :?

I was talking with someone on the AMD forums who says he can get it to center, but only on lower resolutions. He said he plays it x720. 5760x1200 is a no-go.

Was anyone ever able to figure this out? I am also not getting a centered HUD - running 6048x1080 or 5760x1080 with Catalyst 12.2 on the Steam version, fully patched. I have tried with crossfire on and off.

I was disabling crossfire via. CCC (editing the game profile). If I physically turn Crossfire off in CCC (instead of just selecting crossfire disabled for Shogun II), my HUD is centered. This is very similar to Deus Ex HR's behavior.

I am able to get a centered HUD with crossfire enabled if I switch from my eyefinity profile to extended and then back prior to launching the game.
