So this is kinda what I've found out.
This site was slow, so I got a email telling me it's not possible with 3x screens on just the hardware I have.

Also, ATI is asses because they removed their option to "Horizontally Span Across" for using two screens. So this sucks too.
If anyone finds out a way to hook up two screens as one on a ATI HD4670, please, do share.

If you're talking about eyefinity, no, this isn't possible on anything lower than a 5xxx series card. If you're simply talking about running multiple monitors, I believe two is the limit on your laptop, so your laptop screen plus 1.

No, without a DisplayPort connection you are limited to having 2 Screens at one time.

I also don't know what you're talking about when you say that ATI has removed the option to "span across two screens." ATI have ALWAYS allowed 2 screens to be active at one time and, I think, what you're wanting is the "EXTEND" mode...which works just fine.

As for the "span across two screens" I have NEVER seen that option and I've been using ATI cards exclusively since 1996 or slightly before.

EDIT: A little research turned up this information: Horizontal Span was removed by MICROSOFT due to the new driver requirements since Vista. There "may" have been a rudimentary way to get around it but, the absence is due to Microsoft...not ATI.

You might want to check out UltraMon to see if that works for you. Google is your friend.

The ability to horizontally span was removed in Windows vista, has nothing to do with ATI.

Did you even bother reading my own response immediately above yours? Check out the EDIT comment.
