I just got back from a fun week in L.A. where AMD held a Tech Day launch event for the 6850 and 5870 video cards. It turned out to be quite a success. The build was a collaboration between AMD, ImmersaView, Virtual-GT, iRacing and CodeMasters. We demoed both iRacing and F1 2010 on a Virtual-GT racing motion simulator in front of a 15 foot circular screen. The build used an engineering sample of the AMD Radeon HD 6870 pushing EyeFinity to three Optoma GT720's. More images and video to be posted at the link below.
