Hi i will explain my problem first i had 3 viewsonic vx2025wm with the th2go digital everything was working fine.one day i unpluged one of my monitor to plug it directly in my video card to get my display in the middle in 1680x1050(didnt know when i did it that could be done in the matrox panel). when i pluged it back to my th2go my right monitor did not diplay anything no signal, after trying something i found that if i plug my vga cable the monitor was working but in vga i cant do 5040x1050 i lost half of the screen,then i found the little trick on the net plug both cable dvi and vga - turn off computer - unplug power cable on the screen wait - unplug vga - put the power back and power on computer and by magic my screen display in dvi but the native resolution was 1650x1025. when i force it in 1650x1050 lost a part of the top screen i can only see half of the icon but if i move my mouse on top the screen go down and lost the bottom. tested the monitor with different video card,computer and always the same so i was thinking the dvi port as a problem then i ordered a viewsonic vx2262wm i receved my vx2262wm yesterday i pluged everything on the th2go and power on the computer and what a surprise the left monitor was getting no signal again.decide to plug it with the vga cable and it work but this vx2025wm was working fine in dvi before i get the vx2262wm.i pluged the vx2025wm directly to the computer and it work fine can do resolution of 1680x1050.then i was thinking the problem came from my th2go port but i pluged another cheap lg i get here and work fine i can do 5040x1050 i really dont understand why it work in dvi pluged directly to my computer but it does not receve any signal pluged in my th2go. its very strange make many days trying to understang whats happend and i cant resolve it :(( i begin to be crazzzy do i get another defective monitor ? i wish not THANKS !!! for any help (excuse my poor english) |

I would probably rule out the monitor as the culprit, given that you can display a signal when it's connected directly to the GPU. A more likely candidate is the Matrox box and or software. Try reinstalling Powerdesk, and setup the configuration again. |

thanks for your reply,i dont think it is the matrox box because, i tryed another lg monitor i get here and it work fine. i just uninstalled the matrox driver and reinstalled but in the matrox setup wizard - monitor cable connection monitor 1 : No monitor detected on this connector.(vx2025wm not detected) monitor 2 : ViewSonic VX2262wm (Digital) on Digital single-link connector. monitor 2 : ViewSonic VX2025wm (Digital) on Digital single-link connector. but as i said previously monitor 1 work pluged directly in the GPU i also already tryed to format my pc,tryed different nvidia driver (182.50-191.07-195.62)tryed to install the old driver from my matrox cd |

tried moving the DVI cable connected to monitor 1 around ? |

I'd be looking at the DVI cable or the connectors, check for bent pins etc. Otherwise a firmware update on the TH2G is in order. |

yeah already checked the dvi cable work fine on monitor 2 and 3 and aslo with the lg screen i tryed. i already get the lastest firmware. dvi cable = ok connector = ok gpu = ok th2go = ok the monitor work pluged directly to my gpu,if it was a bent pins or the connectors it should not work. its not working pluged in the th2go thats why i cant understand i begin to depress |

i already get the lastest firmware. It's possible that re-installing the firmware will solve the problem. Just because you have the latest firmware doesn't mean there may not be a problem with it. |

just tryed to re-install the firmware the monitor still not detected :( perhaps the DVI output port is damaged by ESD. |
