Does that mean you CAN get Bioshock to work at 5040x1050 in Directx 9? I only get the non-widescreen multi monitor modes available, which makes things really stretched on my widescreen setup.

Yep, I can get Bioshock to work in XP 32 bit at 5040x1050 in DX9. In Vista 64 in DX10, no chance.
