Hi everyone, Will be picking up 3 BenQ XL2420T's tomorrow. I have a pair R9 290 crossfired. Do I need special cables to run this at 120hz? 290 outputs: two dual-link DVI ports, a full-sized HDMI output, and one DisplayPort connector XL2420T inputs: D-sub , DVI-DL(Dual-Link) , HDMIx2 / DP1.2 2 monitors go through the DVI Dual Links, but I am unsure on how to plug in the third one. Some sources say that HDMI to HDMI will for a 3rd monitor would work since the 290 has this feature unlocked. But fairly sure that 1920x1080 @120hz is too much for the hdmi port. Inputs please? Thanks all! |

Best option is two DVI dual link cables and a display port cable for the third. My last cards were 7970's and that is how I connected. You are correct about hdmi not being able to run anything over 60hz. The displayport cable I used was similar to http://eu.startech.com/Cables/Audio-Video/DisplayPort/6-ft-Mini-DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort-Adapter-Cable-Male-to-Male~MDP2DPMM6 |

Thanks driven! I purchased a displayport to displayport cable! works like a charm. Having trouble with playing with games on custom resolutions made by Bezel Compensation though. It is lagging bad, like crippled lag. Even in the menus. This is for Crysis 3, BF 3 and 4. Crysis would make my pc restart! |

Vsync on? 14.6beta drivers crashed my pc less than 15s., on desktop. 14.4whql drivers works fine for me and i dont use bezel correction, just straight 5760x1080. |
