Post subject:  Eyefinity Middle screen not full size resolution

Hi Guys,

I have the following problem with my eyefinity: i can't get my middle screen to full resolution in 3x1 eyefinity settings. my middle screen has a black border around my desktop.
Please help me out!!!

Sounds like a scaling issue. Try opening the Catalyst Control Center, going to My Digital Flat-Panels, clicking Scaling Options and dragging the slider all the way to the right to zero percent.

what Monitors do you have? size? resolution? connection?
what GPU are you using?


bifurk might be right. sounds like a scaling issue.

I had this problem, one monitor stuck at 800 x 600 others at full resolution. I spent hours trying to fix it, all did in the end was power off the monitor, leave, power on - all fixed. It would seem to be a problem with the information the computer is getting from the monitor. A real pain but easy to fix, hopefully.

Perfect! Just upgraded my card & had to change some cables, new card didn't have 2 DVI anymore so the monitor now on HDMI decided to scale down. Spent 1 minute looking myself & didn't come across it in the eyefinity group options, spend 30 seconds looking here & found this perfect step by step.
