yes, you'd need active adapters (they don't have to be usb powered!)
except you'd buy an Flex edition card! then you wouldn't need any adapters at all.

hI I am a little confused about eyefinity I currently have a 6770 and 5770 in crossfire and I am running 3 dell monitors 19" in portrait 2904x1440 with bezel adjustmens, I want to upgrade to a 7850 and run 3 maybe 4 monitors. Will I need a DVI and 2 active mini Displayport to DVI adaptors or can I use passive ones on the 7850? http://uk.msi.com/product/vga/R7850-Twi ... D5-OC.html thanks for looking |
