Hello.
I am new to this forum and PC gameing though I am a PC tech I have not really played with gameing rigs before.
I currently have an AMD FX-6200 PC with XFX 6870 graphics 8gb vengeance ram (soon to be 16gb). I am trying to setup eyefinity without splashing out to much cash. I have 3 monitors each 22" 1080p one Benq and 2 viewsonics. The problem is though the Benq has many inputs dvi hdmi vga the viewsonics are both vga only. My card has 2 minidp, 1 hdmi 1 dvi-i and another dvi-d. This means i can run one vga from the dvi-i but not from the digital one. I got myself a minidp to vga adapter and it works when only 2 screens are plugged in but once i add the 3rd (benq either by minidp-dvi adaptor or straight into dvi-d) i cannot get about 800x400 resolution on the vga screen thats plugged in via the dp port. Is there a way to get this working without blowing £100 or i have another option of 3 dell screens all have dvi but only run at 1440x1050 resolution. Would i notice much differance if i just used the dells? Any advice would be welcome. Another note i will soon be adding another 6870 so will be running crossfire.
