Thinking about getting into an eyefinity setup but just wanted some advice as to whether or not it would be viable based on my systems specs.
I have access to 3 1600x900 monitors and want to know if it is worth my time and money to grab them before they are gone.

AMD Athlon X3 445 @3100mhz
Gigabyte Radeon 6850 1gb
4gb Mushkin Silverline DDR2 800mhz

These are the monitors I had in mind.

Obviously I am on a budget but willing to upgrade but won't be disappointed if I can play games in less than ultra settings.

These Monitors have DVI input. No displayport. So to run Eyefinity you will need to use at least one active adapter. I think two. MiniDP->DVI and HDMI ->DVI (Or does the 6850 have 2 DVI ports? (p.s 2x dvi +hdmi DOESNT work, 2x dvi +dp does!)

About the performance... 4800x900 sure is much for a 6850 and you only have 1gb Vram.
Send me a PM as reminder and i will post a Tool which allows you to run 4800x900 resolution on a Single Monitor! Then you can try it out how well it performs.

If the Monitor itself is good quality... No idea!
