Post subject:  Eyefinity setup problems, need help!

Okay so i am running a AMD Radeon Hd 6700 series graphics card. the card itself has display port, HDMI, and 2 DVI ports. I currently have 1x27 2x24 and am trying to get them setup however even though both 24 inch monitors are plugged in only one of them will work at a time. i can go into my catalyst control center and it see's both 24 inch monitors and i can even switch the display to either of them (right or left) but whichever monitor it is displayed on the other wont work.

I am very new to the whole Eyefinity thing, and yes i used the search function.

All help is greatly appretiated. Thank you

That's your problem. You need to use at least 1 DisplayPort connector in an Eyefinity group. Buy an active DP-DVI converter and you'll be good to go.

Post subject:  Alright so after searching on

Alright so after searching on these forums a bit i found some useful information. I still however am wondering if its worth ordering this:

http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Cables/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=330-5521

Or is there a better brand, because the reviews on that link don't seem very good and according to the sticky thread about the flicker fix, it takes another custom built adapter to get rid of flickering (not guaranteed)

Wow... Thats bit expensive. I'm using: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814998050 without any issues. Its active DP to DVI converter without any external plug. There is miniDP to DVI converter by XFX availible too.
